The nutritive oil of Kativa Keratin Liquid is ideal for regenerating hair damaged by hairdressing or mechanical treatments such as aggressive brushing.
Smooth, light and non-greasy texture, it regenerates and protects the hair, nourishing the hair, as well as sealing and regenerating the cuticle, providing health, shine and softness.
Free of sulfates, parabens, salt or gluten.
Its use is recommended for damaged hair as a cause of:
- Chemical treatments, such as discolorations, wicks, permanent, smoothing or coloring
- Mechanical treatments such as abrasive use of the brush, dryers or hair irons
Its application on the hair seals the hair cuticle, the outermost layer of hair that covers and protects. The condition of the hair cuticle is key to hair health. It is formed by a single layer of keratinocytes, or cells with keratin, which are overlapping with each other.
When the cuticle is in good condition, keratinocytes overlap flat scales and protect the inside of the hair from external aggressions and internal loss of hydration. In this way the cuticle provides a smooth surface, which reflects light and contributes the characteristic shine of healthy hair.
When the cuticle is disorganized and wrinkled, it is a symptom of a hair that has been mistreated or damaged either by external agents, or by treatments such as permanent, habitual use of the dryer or discolorations. With the cuticle in poor condition, the scales forming the keratinocytes are open and can allow toxic or harmful substances to enter the interior of the hair. The hair becomes brittle and opaque. In these cases it is important to give an intnsive treatment so that the hair restores the cuticle and returns the healthy state to the hair.
Instructions for use
On the palms of the hands apply a few drops of Kati Keratin Liquid and rub both hands to distribute it. Apply the product by massaging the hair gently from the middle of the hair to the tips. Focus more on the most damaged areas. Do not rinse.
